THE
BEACH - THE AREA - Yes
Virginia...there is a beach here. And if you're at the Red Roof, it's
three blocks down the side street. If you're staying at the Crown Reef,
take a step out on your balcony. You'll be on the "Redneck Riviera".
A very short distance south of the hotel is an extremely nice state park.
If you're into shopping, golf, tennis, shopping, eating; you're in the right
place. Did I mention shopping? There's a Food Lion grocery store a
couple miles south on the right. Liquor stores are identified usually by
big red dots and I believe they close early, like 7:00pm. There is a
quarter coin car wash going south on the right side, I think near the Food Lion.
Plenty of drug stores are around. Check with the hotel front
desk for any emergency medical facilities nearby.
50/50 and RAFFLE TICKETS...They will be available from 9:00am Friday until 6:00pm Saturday
when the drawing will be held.
IN THE MALL
- Again this year, we're in the mall. Back by popular demand, we'll
be displaying our cars INSIDE Broadway At The Beach Mall.
NON-SHOW CARS
- If you do not plan on entering your
car to be judged but attending the show, we will have window cards stating "Do
Not Judge". Registration is still required for the event but you can
request your car not be judged.
BROADWAY AT THE BEACH
- We were reminded that there is a no alcohol policy at Broadway at the
Beach unless you are inside one of the bars or restaurants. Drinking
outside a bar or restaurant is considered public consumption and is illegal.
MS FACTS & FAQ

running. Click on the link above for some interesting facts on this newly
added page.
WHAT TO
BRING TO THE BEACH
- The weather can go either way so we suggest shorts AND a jacket.
Nights can be cool and days can be warm. You best can determine what you
and your family will personally need but here are a few things we suggest:
folding chairs;
two-way radio (walkie talkies), camera; sunscreen; hats; car
cleaning supplies; cash for raffles; food, water bowls, leash for
your pet if you're bringing one; libations if you prefer although there
are ABC stores close by (they close at 6 or 7); and be sure to bring the idea of having a great time
WALKIE
TALKIES - TWO WAY RADIOS
- Bring your radio. Communicate with others, hear what's going on.
The official channel for Return To the Beach 10 is . . . . . Channel 10.
LOCAL
LAWS -
The Myrtle Beach Police are very strict on speeding, be careful. There are
noise laws, if they can hear your stereo, you may get a ticket.
Neon/LED's are frowned upon especially red or blue ones while driving. Neon license
plate frames are especially frowned upon while driving as well.
